New: pastus+ feed certification for EBC producers and processors

EBC certified biochar is a very interesting and increasingly sought-after ingredient for animal feed. EBC producers can now be certified additionally according to the pastus+ quality assurance system. GMP+ recognizes pastus+ certification as equivalent.

Our sister company agroVet will promptly serve interested companies worldwide and thus enable the fastest possible certification. We expect this new option to deliver a rapid and competent service for our EBC producers and processors.

Demand for EBC biochar for animal feeding is rising steadily. Biochar EBC-Feed is a very interesting and increasingly sought-after ingredient in feeds and is fed directly to the animals more and more.

In order for the feed industry to be able to use EBC biochar, certification of the biochar according to GMP+ or pastus+ is often required. The GMP+ program, in turn, recognizes other standards as equivalent, for example the pastus+ standard from Austria.

Pastus+ Guidelines and Information

Biochar EBC-Feed producers who require approval and certification can have themselves certified according to pastus+ by our sister company agroVet. This applies in particular to companies outside of Austria. agroVet will promptly serve interested companies and thus enable the quickest and most cost-effective certification possible.

The recognition of pastus+ certification by the GMP+ system is thereafter still a standard formality, which the feed manufacturer applies for annually from the "GMP+ International" organization.
