News: Swedish Conference on Sewage Sludge Biochar

Good day

From Tuesday 11th October to Wednesday 12th October, 2022, the 1st Swedish Conference on Biochar from Sewage Sludge will be held in Malmö, Sweden.

The program includes presentations and discussions around sewage sludge biochar, its potential as a carbon sink, and applications in agriculture.

Among others, Hans-Peter Schmidt and Nikolas Hagemann (Carbon Standards International AG and Ithaka Institute for Carbon Strategies) will give a presentation on certification of EBC biochar from sewage sludge.

Also on site will be Alphons Puthiyidom, who is responsible for environmental and process engineering at Carbon Standards International AG.
