In light of the challenges associated with climate change and the need to operate sustainably, natural cosmetics and specifically NATRUE natural and organic cosmetics are increasingly gaining in importance.
NATRUE has incorporated the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals in its criteria, and as a NATRUE licensee you are thus making a valuable contribution to a healthy future.
In this, our bio.inspecta newsletter, we have compiled some important current information for you:
| | | New deadlines for NATRUE Raw Materials Approval and NATRUE Certification of Finished Products | | | The deadlines for the NATRUE Raw Materials Approval as well as the certification of raw materials have been extended as follows: | | | 1. From 1 July 2024, new cosmetic products to be certified may only contain NATRUE approved or NATRUE certified raw materials. | | | We offer raw material suppliers NATRUE Raw Materials Approval as well as NATRUE Certification and will be happy to provide further information. | | | 2. From 1 July 2025, for the re-certification of cosmetic products, all raw materials must also be either NATRUE approved or NATRUE certified. | | | Many raw materials are already NATRUE approved or certified. We recommend all manufacturers of finished products to check the status of raw materials and to encourage raw materials suppliers not yet listed in the database for certified and approved raw materials to get on board. | | | International Day of Natural Cosmetics on 23 November 2022 | | | NATRUE declared the first International Day of Natural Cosmetics on 23 November 2022. This day will promote the benefits of "true natural cosmetics" for people and the environment worldwide and inspire consumers to #choosetruebeauty. The day is celebrated in more than 30 countries around the world.
In support of this celebration, NATRUE offered members, label users and friends the opportunity to participate by means of a video clip.
