Biochar-Snowboard wins World Cup race for the first time!

Good day

We are happy to announce that Maurizio Bormolini won for the first time a World Cup Slalom Race on a snowboard made with biochar. Maurizio is a professional alpine snowboarder from Livigno, Italy. Since this season he rides in the Global C-Sink Team and is supported by Carbon Standards.

Maurizio competes with snowboards made by Oxess, that were co-developed with the Ithaka Institute using climate-positive nano-carbon technology (Global C-Sink).
The nano-carbon is obtained from various micronized biochars and improves the dynamic properties of the snowboard.
