Save the date – Charnet Biochar Symposium

The time has come, on Friday, 16 June 2023, the Biochar Symposium 2023 will take place at the FHNW in Brugg-Windisch.

The conference is organised by Charnet, the Swiss trade association for biochar. We are very pleased to support the Symposium as a gold sponsor and co-organiser.

Attractive programme

With this Symposium, Charnet offers a platform for the discussion of opportunities and challenges in the field of biochar – for the entire sector, authorities and researchers. What are the benefits of biochar for Swiss soils? How great is its potential for climate protection? How is its use currently regulated? These topics will be explored in depth in presentations and a panel discussion.

In addition, the Symposium will offer an exchange of experience and application-oriented knowledge in four parallel sessions on the topics of construction, agriculture, urban green spaces and plant planning.

Registration for the poster exhibition

A poster exhibition on current research projects is planned in the atrium of the FHNW during the breaks and the standing lunch at noon.

Researchers are invited to submit an abstract by 31 March 2023.
