We have some news for you today:
NATRUE continues to establish itself as a reliable brand for natural and organic cosmetics. Criteria are adapted where necessary. In particular, the list of permitted derived natural raw materials is constantly updated and expanded.
A new development is that glycerine produced from palm oil or palm kernel oil must be RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil) MB (mass balance) certified. This applies to glycerine used as an ingredient in a formulation and also to glycerine used as a source substance in the production of raw materials. Annex 3 of the NATRUE criteria was updated accordingly.
This rule applies with immediate effect to products (NATRUE certification) and raw materials (NATRUE certification or approval) to be newly submitted. For existing products, glycerine must meet the new requirements by the time of the next recertification.
| | | The NATRUE database of raw materials, which lists certified or approved raw materials, is being added to almost daily. More than 2200 raw materials are already listed. Take the opportunity to have us approve or certify your raw materials for NATRUE cosmetic products. This saves you having to provide the paperwork to each individual client.
As a NATRUE Cosmetic Product Manufacturer:in, you will find raw materials in the database for which you do not need to submit any additional documentation. The listed raw materials are approved by us without additional testing, which saves you time and money in product testing. | | | We would also like to inform you of a change in our NATRUE team:
In the next few weeks, both Sara Leu and Dr Jasmin Peschke will be changing for private reasons. Sara Leu will leave bio.inspecta at the end of June and Dr Jasmin Peschke will temporarily continue working only on an hourly basis. Both were your contact persons for NATRUE for many years and would like to thank you for the very good cooperation!
New to the NATRUE team is Mirjam Quendt, who together with Normen Böttcher will receive your requests and process them just as reliably as you are used to. Both Mirjam Quendt and Normen Böttcher have been bio.inspecta employees for many years. They are looking forward to continuing their cooperation. A position has been advertised to complement the new NATRUE team. Feel free to pass on this message.
