Adèle Thorens Goumaz, Member of the Council of States, was elected President of the Board of Directors of bio.inspecta AG at the General Meeting of 22 June 2023. Her predecessor Peter Jossen took his well-deserved retirement after 20 years on the Board of Directors, of which 15 years as President. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Peter Jossen for his service.
bio.inspecta AG is the Swiss market leader for the inspection and certification of organic farms and sustainably producing companies in the processing and trade sectors. The certification of statutory regulations, private labels and standards for food, organic, cosmetics, aquaculture, climate and more, are bio.inspecta's core areas of expertise.
The experienced politician has been advocating the interests of sustainable agriculture and the food industry for many years. We appreciate that Adèle Thorens Goumaz has taken over the presidency of bio.inspecta. Also joining the Board of Directors is Ms Elvira Bieri, former Managing Director of SGS Société Générale de Surveillance SA Switzerland with several locations in Switzerland and worldwide.
