We would like to inform you, that GOTS will make some changes in their structure and will be called Global Standards from now on. Soon an additional standard next to GOTS will be published. You will get more information on this topic when it will be officially published.

Global Standards is now also having a new database called GTB – Global Trace Base, where CBs can upload all data digitally and, in the future, also clients can access this data. We at CERES are sending Scope certificate information to Global Standards already since Sept 2024 and we will be sending all Transaction Certificate data starting Q3 2025.

To support this change, Global Standard added additional costs to their license fees. License fees are now 245€, which are made up as follows:

• Entity Fees 180€
• Annual Fees 50€
• GTB Fees 15€

Please note, that the Annual fee was always calculated in the certification block and is not an increase, but for better transparency, we now display it all in GOTS License Fees.
I can also inform you already, that starting Q3 2025, GOTS will charge also additional costs for every issued GOTS TCs. How much this will be, has not yet been finalized, but we will let you know.

We would also like to point out that there is a public consultation on the revision of GOTS version 8.0, in which all customers can participate until March 7, 2025

Sehr geehrte Kunden

Wir möchten Sie darüber informieren, dass GOTS einige Änderungen an seiner Struktur vornehmen wird und von nun an Global Standards heißt. Es wird ein neuer Standard neben GOTS eingeführt und Sie erhalten weitere Informationen zu diesem Thema, wenn er offiziell veröffentlicht wird.

Global Standards verfügt jetzt auch über eine neue Datenbank namens GTB – Global Trace Base, in die Zertifizierungsstellen alle Daten digital hochladen können und in Zukunft auch Kunden auf diese Daten zugreifen können. Wir bei CERES senden bereits seit September 2024 Scope-Zertifikate an Global Standards und werden ab dem 3. Quartal 2025 alle Daten zu Transaktions-Zertifikaten (TCs) senden.

Um diese Änderung zu unterstützen, hat Global Standard zusätzliche Kosten zu seinen Lizenzgebühren hinzugefügt. Lizenzgebühren sind ab sofort 245€, welche sich wie folgt zusammenstellen:

• Entity-Gebühren 180 €
• Jahresgebühren 50 €
• GTB-Gebühren 15 €

Bitte beachten Sie, dass die Jahresgebühr immer im Zertifizierungsblock berechnet wurde und keine Erhöhung darstellt, aber für mehr Transparenz zeigen wir sie jetzt vollständig in den GOTS-Lizenzgebühren an.
Ich kann Ihnen auch bereits mitteilen, dass ab dem 3. Quartal 2025 Global Standards zusätzliche Kosten für jedes ausgestellte GOTS TC berechnen wird. Wie hoch diese sein werden, steht noch nicht endgültig fest, aber wir werden Sie informieren.

Wir möchten sie auch noch darauf hinweisen, dass es eine öffentliche Konsultation gibt, zur Revision GOTS Version 8.0, an der alle Kunden noch bis 07.03.2025 teilnehmen können
