New Version of Certification Standards for Rainforest Alliance

Dear Clients,

We would like to inform you that Rainforest Alliance has released a new version of its certification standard Version 1.4 for the following scopes, which will become effective as of October 1st, 2025 :

• FARM
• SUPPLY CHAIN

Rainforest Alliance has also introduced a Simplication Policy which outlines the requirements that will be removed or are no longer mandatory in the updated standard.
Please note that all audits initiated before this date may also be conducted in accordance with Version 1.4

If you would like your upcoming audit (scheduled in the following month) to be conducted under this Simplification Policy, please inform us accordingly.

Within the RACP platform, you will have the option to apply the Simplification Policy. Once selected, you will receive a simplified checklist, where non-mandatory requirements will be clearly marked in Column C with the label “Not mandatory” at the beginning of the respective requirement.
In cases where the new version of the self-assessment checklist cannot be downloaded, the affected requirements will be marked in Column D as Not applicable.
