Technical Information: CN Codes for Exports to the EU | | Dear Customers,
To ensure the smooth export of your organic products to the EU, it is essential that the COMBINED NOMENCLATURE (CN) CODE used in the CERTIFICATE OF INSPECTION (COI) matches the CN code listed on your EU ORGANIC CERTIFICATE.
If these codes do not align, there is a significant risk that your products may be REJECTED AT THE EU BORDER, potentially resulting in them being returned or losing their ORGANIC STATUS FOR SALE within the EU.
To avoid such issues, please take note of the following: | | The CN code entered in the COI must correspond to the code(s) listed on your EU organic certificate. | | 2. Requesting Changes to the Certificate | | If you believe the CN code on your certificate should be changed, please notify us as early as possible but AT LEAST ONE WEEK PRIOR TO EXPORT. While bio.inspecta must adhere to the official CN code system, the correct code can vary depending on the INTENDED USE OF THE PRODUCT. We will do our best to support you and adjust the code where justified. If you are using DIFFERENT CN CODES for export purposes, please let us know in advance and check your certificates. | | If you have any questions or need support, feel free to contact our international team at: | | We are always happy to assist.
Kind regards,
