Important: End of Validity for old EU Organic Certificates – Action Required | | | Dear Clients,
We would like to remind you that as of 15 October 2025, all old EU organic certificates will lose their validity. | | - Clients who have not yet received a new EU organic certificate will no longer be allowed to trade any products as EU organic.
- From 15 October 2025 onwards, it will not be possible to request a COI for exporting goods to Europe based on the old certificates.
- If you purchase products from suppliers, you must verify that they are certified under the new EU regulation. Otherwise, we cannot accept them as organic, and any products manufactured with such inputs will be downgraded to non-organic quality.
| | - Products purchased with an old EU organic certificate before 15 October 2025 can still be considered organic, provided all other requirements are fulfilled.
| | - According to the EU Commission, COIs issued before 15 October 2025 under the old regulation will remain valid if the goods arrive in Europe no later than 25 October 2025.
- Shipments arriving after 25 October 2025 will no longer be accepted, and there is a high risk that goods will be blocked at the border.
