The CERES-CERT Textile & Recycling Team wishes you a successful new year. We would like to thank you for the good cooperation over the past year and look forward to the further journey we can take with you in 2026.
| | | The preparations for the new inspection and certification season are in full swing. In this context, we would like to draw your attention to the following points | | | We are currently represented in 39 countries, coordinated through 4 offices worldwide. Our ongoing growth means continuous investment in new staff across the globe, strengthening our local and international expertise. We place strong emphasis on annual training for all employees to ensure consistent standard knowledge. At the same time, our teams are regularly trained on new internal processes driven by digitalization, allowing us to provide the best possible support to you, our clients, throughout the entire certification cycle.
| | | Digitalization continues to gain momentum and is a key focus of our development roadmap. In 2025, we successfully implemented the new TC Tool ORDERS for Textile Exchange, which is performing reliably and fully as expected. Looking ahead to 2026, we will further expand our digital ecosystem with the implementation of the TC Tool for GOTS. In addition, we will introduce new features within our cloud environment, step by step to enhance transparency, efficiency, and user experience. These steps underline our commitment to continuous digital innovation and to providing robust, future-ready solutions for our partners.
| | | Global Standard gGmbH will release GOTS 8.0 in March 2026. Following the release, clients will have one year to implement the required changes. At CERES, we will begin certifying according to GOTS 8.0 in 2027. With the publication of the new policy, all clients will be informed in detail about the changes via our newsletter, ensuring a smooth and well-prepared transition. In addition, Global Standard gGmbH is planning to introduce a completely new standard, GLOBAL RESPONSIBLE TEXTILE STANDARD (GRTS). Further information will follow in due course.
