Global Artisan C-Sink is growing

With the Global Artisan C-Sink Standard, we can do a lot of good for our planet and people. In India, starting this week, 500 additional small farmers are creating valuable carbon sinks in a new project that directly reduces climate warming. With the sale of these Global C-Sink Credits, farming families can generate additional revenue and thus significantly improve their incomes.

The soil application of the produced biochar improves the yield and water retention in their fields. Through training and information from our C-Sink managers and partners in the field, more and more smallholders understand the value of turning their crop residues into valuable biochar and incorporating it, e.g., into compost.

We are proud to have Dutch Carboneers, another accredited and certified C-Sink Manager on board to implement new projects. Mart and Berend are also speakers in the webinar.
