HTS-Codes for NOP Import Certificates

Good day

We are pleased to inform you of a new requirement from the USDA regarding the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) codes that must be used on NOP Import Certificates.

Effective immediately, specific HTS codes must be used for organic products. If an HTS code for the “certified organic” category is available for your product, please provide us with the corresponding HTS code on Form

At the top of the webpage, there is a search field where you can enter the product to be exported. The codes for that product will then be displayed on the left-hand side. Please check whether there is an additional code for organic products. If available, this 10-digit code must be used for the issuance of the NOP Import Certificate. Organic codes are not available for all products.
